Opportunities

Kawerau is a rural town, with a dynamic industrial centre with a growing geothermal hub.

It is a welcoming place, ideal for business investment.  The town is accustomed to newcomers and making them feel welcome. Kawerau has over 280 enterprises in Kawerau, with over 25% employing more than 20 people.
