Community Gardens

This project is driven by the need to develop a resilient community. KEA has some underutilised resources which are being developed to help the community support its people through growing their own vegetables, flowers etc, and teaching them to prepare, cook, present, and teach others. A co-ordinator has recently been appointed by KEA to work with a number of other organisations on a similar pathway. There is a rapidly increasing desire to "grow your own" in a sustainable manner.
